Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Slotly: AI Habit Tracker ("Slotly"), developed and operated by Ali Saleh ("we", "our", or "the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Slotly.
• You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose — tracking personal habits and routines.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You agree not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to exploit the app in any way.

2. Account

Creating an account is optional. If you choose to create one, you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Cloud Account → Delete Account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Slotly offers a free tier (up to 3 habits, limited AI Coach messages) and a Pro subscription (unlimited habits and AI Coach, plus full AI function calling).
• Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($2.99/month), yearly subscription ($29.99/year), or a one-time lifetime purchase ($54.99).
• All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not store your payment details.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time via Google Play Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy.

4. Free Trial

New users receive a 3-day free trial with unlimited habits and full AI Coach access. After the trial ends, the app reverts to the free tier (3 habits maximum, 5 AI Coach messages per day with mark-as-done only) unless you subscribe to Pro. If you had more than 3 habits during the trial, you will be asked to choose which 3 to keep active; the rest are locked.

5. App Features

• Joker Card: Each habit earns one Joker Card for every 7 completed days. Joker Cards can be used on any past blank date (before today) to retroactively mark a habit as complete without breaking your streak. Joker Cards are bound to the habit that earned them and cannot be transferred to another habit. Unused jokers accumulate indefinitely — they do not expire.
• Home Screen Widget: Slotly offers an optional home screen widget that displays up to 5 of your habits and their completion status for the current day. Widget data is read from local storage only.
• CSV Export: You can export your full habit history as a CSV file from Settings. The export is generated locally and shared only through the Android share sheet at your direction.
• Badges: The app awards achievement badges for milestones such as completing habits on consecutive days. Badges are stored locally on your device.

6. AI Coach

• The AI Coach feature is powered by Google Gemini and is intended for general habit and wellness guidance only.
• It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or clinical advice. Do not rely on the AI Coach for health decisions. If you have a medical concern or mental health crisis, please consult a qualified healthcare provider.
• When you use the AI Coach, your habit names and today's completion status are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate responses. Conversations are not stored by Slotly.
• Message limits: Free-tier users receive 5 AI Coach messages per day, with the ability to mark habits as done via function calling. Pro users receive unlimited AI Coach messages and full function calling (create, edit, and mark habits as done).
• The AI Coach cannot modify app settings, subscriptions, or user preferences. It can only manage habit data.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding in Slotly are the property of Ali Saleh. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Slotly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. Use the app at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ali Saleh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app for any user who violates these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jordan. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jordan.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
